Social Networking for Professional Growth

Jul 2, 2012

Media Relations Manager Patrick Giblin and Executive Director of Housing, Residential and Greek Life Torry Brouillard-Bruce will host a one-hour drop in session at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3rd, in the Taylor Conference Room on the third floor of the library. During the session, they will take questions and demonstrate how Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and other popular social networking sites can be used for professional development. This includes how to follow conferences and lectures that you couldn't attend, meet peers and learn what they are doing at their institutions, trouble shoot and explore issues with professionals, and learn about professional organizations and conferences that you may not know about.

This is a drop-in session and RSVPs are not required.
