Updated: Pershing Ave Entrance Reopened

Nov 30, 2012

The Pershing Avenue entrance at Larry Heller Drive/West Alpine Avenue has been reopened to traffic. Officials will continue to monitor the water level at the intersection this weekend and may again temporarily close it if Saturday's or Sunday's storms create hazardous driving conditions in the area.

Parking enforcement will continue to be suspended for the rest of the day.

The University's entrance at Pershing Avenue and Larry Heller Drive/West Alpine Avenue has been closed to vehicle traffic because of flooding in the area.

It is recommended that vehicles use the main Pacific Avenue entrance to access the University. Vehicles can also access the campus on Dave Brubeck Way or through the entries on Mendocino Ave.

Because of the conditions and the difficulty of accessing Parking Lot 1 on the west side of campus, parking enforcement has been suspended for the day.
