SAND VOLLEYBALL HEADED TO NATIONALS

The Tigers' No. 1 sand duo of senior Hannah Clancy and freshman Kat Schulz played their way to the 2013 AVCA Collegiate Sand Volleyball National Championships as announced on Monday, April 22. Clancy and Schulz will be one of 10 individual pairs to play in the tournament. They join the top pairs from the team championships to play in the 16-pair individual tournament from May 3-5 as the nation's best sand players meet in Gulf Shores, Ala. to decide a champion. Go Tigers!

PACIFIC SOFTBALL KNOCKS OFF NO. 15 STANFORD

For the first time since 2005, the Pacific Softball Team took down the Stanford Cardinal as the Tigers knocked off the No. 15 ranked Cardinal, 9-6, on Wed., April 24, avenging an earlier 2-0 loss to Stanford back on March 10. The win for the Tigers improved their overall record to 28-22 and the Cardinal fell to 29-16 on the year. Go Tigers!

PACIFIC STUDENT-ATHLETES VOLUNTEER AT LOCAL SCHOOL

The Pacific athletic department and its student-athletes continued the tradition of community service this past week, volunteering with Creating Opportunities Via Education (COVE) at an after-school program at a local middle school.  Five student-athletes from the Tigers' men's basketball team, as well as student-athletes from women's basketball and cross country and track, participated in the community service outing.

Don't forget to show your support of the Tigers and wear your colors every Friday!

Until next week, Go Tigers!
