Tigers Supporting Tigers
In honor of celebrating Philanthropy Week, President Eibeck has committed to race against the students in a potato sack, if the students raise $10,000 through the Tiger Gift Campaign by April 24. Pacific celebrated its first Philanthropy Week April 1-5. The Student Philanthropy Council paid homage to the generous support of the Pacific community by hanging hundreds of orange bows all over campus, asking their peers to write notes of gratitude to donors, and delivering balloons to faculty and staff donors to thank them for their support.
These events all led up to the launch of the new Tiger Gift Campaign - formerly known as the Senior Class Gift. Students are encouraged to designate their gift to the area on campus that means the most to them whether that be their academic program, student organization, athletic team or general scholarship support through the Pacific Fund. Although this is primarily a student giving campaign, all faculty and staff are encouraged to participate at www.pacificgiving.org/tigergift.
