Campaign Update - 2013-14 United Way Campaign

Dec 3, 2013

Thanks to all who have responded so quickly in turning in their gift forms for Pacific's 2013-14 United Way Campaign. It is gratifying to see the Pacific community rally together to support those in need in our community.

As of this point, gifts by you "early birds" have brought us to $78,576, putting us over the halfway mark at 65% of our $120,000 goal. I would like to encourage those who have not participated yet to take some time to complete your gift forms. And remember we are shooting for 45% participation, so every gift counts, no matter what the size. United Way raffle

Winners of the early bird drawings will be announced soon. And don't forget, all those who get their gift forms turned in by Dec. 16 will be eligible to participate in special drawings for a San Francisco 49er's Football, signed by Starting Quarterback, #7 Colin Kaepernick and a Kaepernick framed print.

Let's see if we can meet our goals even before we go home for the holiday break. That's just under three weeks away!

Your contribution can be in any amount, and every bit helps nonprofits in our local Stockton community and surrounding areas!  Remember, any 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization can be designated and your donation will go to that organization. If you already donate to a favorite charity, please consider making your donation through the United Way Campus Campaign. Donations can be made as a one-time gift or through a monthly pledge.

Help us continue to demonstrate to our community that Pacific knows the importance of giving. Please contact your department's United Way coordinator or call me at 209.946.2753 if you have any questions. Thank you for your support of this very important effort where everyone in our community benefits!

Sincerely,

Steve Whyte, University Events Manager
