Pacific Track Announces 2014 Schedule
The University of the Pacific track team has announced its 2014 schedule, a campaign that will see the Tigers compete throughout California as well as a season-opening trip to Boulder, Colo. The 2014 NCAA Track and Field West Regionals will be held in Fayetville, Ark. at the end of the season.
The action gets started with the USA Junior Cross Country Championships in Boulder on Feburary 15. The USATF event will be hosted at the Flatirons Golf Course, on a 2,000 meter loop course.
Pacific will then head to the Kim Duyst Invitational in Turlock, Calif. on March 1, before competing in the Aggie Open in Davis, Calif. on March 15. The Hornet Invitational in Sacramento on March 22 rounds out the month of March for the Orange and Black.
Tiger runners will head to the Bay Area to compete in both the SF State Distance Carnival and Stanford Invitational on April 4 before the team comes together again for the Long Beach State Invitational on April 19 and the Fresno Invitational on April 26.
The West Coast Individual Championships will be held on May 10 in San Francisco before the NCAA West Regional Championships run from May 29-31 on the campus of University of Arkansas in Fayetville, Ark.
Following the postseason race, the USA Junior/Senior Track and Field Championships return to Sacramento, Calif. from June 26-28, 2014, bringing runners from across the country to the state capital and the campus of Sacramento State.
