Anthem Blue Cross and Sutter Medical Group Settle

Anthem Blue Cross renewed their agreement with Sutter Medical Group effective January 1, 2014.  Anthem Blue Cross HMO members who received a letter in early November regarding the pending contract expiration will NOT be reassigned to alternate medical groups. Anthem Blue Cross HMO members who had previously been notified of potential changes will be sent a notice from Anthem informing them that an agreement has been reached and that they will retain their current Sutter medical group assignment.  If a member had already enrolled in a new medical group after receiving the initial letter and he/she wishes to re-enroll with Sutter, they may contact Customer Service at 1.800.227.3771.

Additional Open Enrollment Opportunity

In light of the contract settlement between Anthem Blue Cross and Sutter Medical Group Pacific is providing an additional opportunity to make benefit changes. This additional open enrollment period will be from Dec. 16-19. All enrollment applications are due in the Human Resource office by noon on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013.
