Pacific Insider among University initiatives to earn CASE awards of excellence

Congratulations! It’s raining Gold, Silver and Bronze for six Pacific development and communications initiatives

The Pacific Insider, University of the Pacific's internal communication newsletter, was one of several development and communications initiatives to be recognized with Awards of Excellence by CASE, the Council for Advancement in Support of Education, District VII. CASE is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. District VII represents professionals and institutions in the western region of the United States (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, and Utah).

The following will be recognized at an awards lunchoen at the District VII regional conference in San Francisco on Saturday, March 2.

Earning Gold award recognitions were Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry's "Campaign iBook" in the category Fundraising Publications: Digital Case Statements/General Cultivation Publications and the "New San Francisco Campus Groundbreaking and Construction Kickoff Events" in the category Integrated Advancement Programs - Year-Long Special Events.

Nabbing Silver awards were "The Pacific Insider" for Digital Internal Audience Periodicals and "The Ted and Chris Robb Community Garden Dedication Ceremony" for Integrated Advancement Programs-Special Events.

Receiving Bronze awards were "Pacific's New Stewardship Program" in the category Fundraising Programs-Stewardship and Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry's "kids in the Klinic: Supporting Smiles for Children in Need" in the category Video Fundraising Features.

Congratulations to the many employees who worked in a variety of capacities to make each of these initiatives successful and achieve this much deserved recognition.
