Institutional Effectiveness Showcase

This second IES event will feature presentations from the director of McGeorge's Global Lawyering Skills program
Mar 12, 2013

Pacific's Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) had a successful Institutional Effectiveness showcase in January that was attended by 47 people.  Attendee reviews of the showcase were positive and indicated they enjoyed the presentations.

The second Showcase event will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at noon in the President's Room and lunch will be provided.  Mary-Beth Moylan, Director of McGeorge's Global Lawyering Skills program,  will present two of her projects.  She will describe her ongoing "looping" study to determine if it is better for students and faculty to have the professor stay with a cohort of students in both their first and second years or to have the students move to a different professor.  She will also discuss her work on reconfiguring McGeorge's writing program.

If you would like to attend this showcase, which is open to the Pacific community,  please RSVP to Nadine Pappas at 209.946.2553 or npappas@pacific.edu.
