Highlights from AACP Meeting

The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) is holding their Annual Pharmacy Education Meeting 2013 in Chicago, IL. The meeting started on Saturday, July 13, 2013 and will go through Wednesday, July 16, 2013. University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences received multiple recognitions and faculty and students also participated in the programming as mini-session and poster presenters. Congratulations to all!

Our student team was one of the winners of the National Consumers League Script Your Future awards - specifically the Target Market Challenge Award. They were recognized and acknowledged for their efforts to improve health care for the underserved populations. Read more about the award here.

Pacific's chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) placed third in the NCPA Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition. The winner will be announced at NCPA's Annual Meeting in October.
