Share the Love

Help Pacific make new students feel welcome to their campus home by posting your welcome messages (#WelcomeTigers) and sharing what you love about Pacific — What makes Pacific a great place to be?

What are your favorite Pacific food items, campus spaces, events and traditions? Share them with our new Tigers on Pacific's Facebook page (or do you Tweet? #PacificTopTen).

Final orientations and check-ins are going on this week. Cars are backed up to residence halls as students unload piles of personal belongings to outfit their new campus home, and lines form at the book store, finance center, financial aid and registrar's offices as students tie up loose ends and prepare for their new academic adventure.

Opening Convocation and Tiger Roar

All the excitement leads up to Opening Convocation on Sunday, August 25. This formal ceremony kicks-off the school year and officially welcomes news students with a "ROAR."

All current students, faculty and staff are invited to join in the Traditional Tiger Roar as students exit Faye Spanos Concert Hall following the Convocation Ceremony. Get your growl on and meet at 2:30 p.m. outside the entrance to Faye Spanos to begin lining up for the Traditional Tiger Welcome!

All-Campus Dessert Reception

After the Tiger Roar, there will be an all-campus dessert reception. Please don't miss this opportunity to welcome our students and create what will surely be the first of many memorable experiences for them at Pacific.
