|Tigers In Tennies Set For Tonight
Enjoy an evening of fun and excitement with the Pacific Men's and Women's Basketball teams as they will be holding their 19th Annual Tigers In Tennies free youth basketball clinic on Thursday, Nov. 21. The clinic is open to all boys and girls ages 5-12 years old, all skills levels are welcomed and there is no pre-registration required.
Pacific Well Represented Academically In The WCC Led By The Second-Year Tigers
With the fall season's wrapping up the end of the year awards have begun to come in with academic awards coming first to Pacific student-athletes. Most recently, the Tigers volleyball team picked up four spots on the WCC All-Academic team as sophomores Kat Schulz and Kimmy Whitson earned first team honors. Also putting four on the All-Acadmic team was the women's soccer team led by sophomore Shayda Ansari on the first team. Not to be outdone, cross country also placed four runners on the academic team at the end of their season with sophomore Becky Grabow earning first eam honors. Outside of the WCC, sophomore Hannah Bettencourt represented the field hockey team on the NorPac All-Academic team in her first year of eligibility.
Tregoning Named To NFHCA All-Region Team
Emily Tregoning was named a Longstreth/NFHCA All-West Region Second Team selection, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced today. The honor is the first for a Pacific player since Vianney Campos took home All-America honors following the 2006 season. Stanford and Pacific were the only two NorPac West teams with honorees to the All-Region teams in 2013.
Men's Tennis Signs Bernardo Oliveira For 2014-15
Pacific Men's Tennis Head Coach Ryan Redondo has announced the signing of Bernardo Oliveira to a letter of intent for the 2014-15 season. Bernardo is a native of Florianopolis, Brazil, but currently lives in Ojai, Calif.
In addition, coach Redondo is proud to announce that Marlon Brand of Nieuwerkerk aan den Ijssel, Netherlands will be a Spring 2014 addition to the men's tennis roster. Marlon has been a staple top 10 player in every age division in the Netherlands.
Pacific To Host The 2013 MPSF Men's Water Polo Championships Next Week
With just one week to go in the regular season, the No. 1 Tiger men's water polo team is not only gearing up for their final run at the MPSF regular season crown but also preparing to host the championship tournament. The tournament will pit the top team's in the MPSF over three days (Nov. 29 - Dec. 1) for the right to represent the conference in the NCAA Championships. Tickets are on sale now for the event so get your tickets now to see your top ranked Tigers play for a spot in the championship tournament.
