The Pacific men's basketball team hosts Fresno State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in the Alex G. Spanos Center. The game is part of a doubleheader with the women's team, who hosts Arizona at 5 p.m.
Pacific is 3-0 after a 66-52 home win over Western Illinois on Nov. 17. The Tigers hit their first nine shots to start off with a 23-3 lead and never looked back. Senior Tony Gill led the Tigers with 19 points against the Leathernecks, while Sama Taku added 16 points and Andrew Bock scored 13.
Fresno State is 3-1 on the season, after a 63-46 win over Cal Poly on Wednesday night. Marvelle Harris leads the Bulldogs with 14.8 points per game. Pacific leads the all-time series with Fresno State 78-77, with the teams splitting the last eight meetings ... At 155 games, it is the tied for longest series in the Tiger record book (Pacific has also played 155 games with San Jose State) ...
