University of the Pacific men's basketball team begins a three game home stand with a home game against UC Irvine on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The tipoff time is set for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday is Tiger Cubs Night, with kids 12 and under who sign up for the Tiger Cubs Club will receive a free Wells Fargo Tiger Cubs t-shirt and a free Joey Card courtesy of Outback Steak House.

Pacific opened the 2013-14 with an 80-78 road win at Nevada on Friday night. Senior Tony Gill led the Tigers with 22 points and earned West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors. He was joined in double figures by seniors Ross Rivera (14 points), Sama Taku (13 points) and Trevin Harris (11 points).

UC Irvine is 0-1 on the season, after dropping a 98-97 decision to Fresno State in overtime on Friday night. Pacific leads the all-time series with UC Irvine 42-37, with the Tigers winning seven of the last 10 meetings. The Tigers won two of three meetings last year as members of the Big West Conference, including a 64-55 win in the Big West Conference Tournament. The Tigers lead 21-14 in Stockton, with Pacific winning four of the last five in Stockton. This will be the first meeting between the two teams outside of the Big West Conference.
