Pacific women's volleyball takes on BYU on ESPNU

We Need Your Support Tonight At Women's Volleyball
The Tiger women's volleyball team needs your support as they take on No. 19 BYU at home in the Alex G. Spanos Center at 8 p.m. tonight. We need you out in force tonight as the match will be a nationally televised event on ESPNu. Come cheer on your Tigers as they take on the No. 1 team in the WCC as the teams prepare for the stretch run of conference play. Also, on Saturday, Pacific will Play Pink in support of breast health awareness. Come out at 1:00 pm as the Tigers take on the #9 ranked San Diego Toreros.
Additionally, take note that the women's volleyball match on Nov. 2 has been moved to Thur., Oct. 31 at 7:00 pm. The Tigers will take on the rival Gaels from Saint Mary's on Halloween night as Pacific looks to scare itself up a win at home.

Basketball Season Just Around The Corner
By this time next week our first men's basketball game of the season will already be in the books as the men hit the court in exhibition action against Cal State Stanislaus on Wed., Oct. 30 at 7:00 pm. Come on out and check out your new look Tigers in head coach Ron Verlin's first game at the helm of the program. The night will also feature Pacific's Safe Trick or Treat for the Stockton community so get here early. Parking will be free of charge on Wed. night, but parking will also be impacted and limited.

Pacific Invitational Just Days Away For Golf
After playing the first three tournaments of the new year on the road the Tigers come home for their annual Pacific Invitational from Oct. 31 - Nov. 2. The Tigers will host some of the nation's best teams during the three day event as Pacific heads to Stockton Country Club for the first time in the tournament's storied history. Be sure to come out and support the golf team as they look for their second crown in the past three tournaments. Additionally, Spectator Saturday is in effect so bring a family member, a friend, a client, but make sure you come out on the final round (Saturday) to watch the action unfold. VIP tickets are being sold for $50 as well as the ticket will give you access to the VIP tent where you can enjoy all you can eat food and drink. Or for $5, gain access to the Subway tent where you can eat Subway sandwiches all day long on Friday and Saturday while cheering on your Tigers.

Tigers On Google+ Hangout For WCC Media Day Thursday
Pacific will make its West Coast Conference debut at the league's third annual basketball tip-off event at Time Warner Cable Sports Studios on Thursday, October 24. The event will give West Coast Conference fans the ability to interact with all 10 WCC head men's and women's basketball coaches and student-athletes from each institution through a live stream on TheW.tv and the popular "WCC Live" radio program, available on WCCsports.com. Fans can also interact with West Coast Conference student-athletes through live Google+ Hangouts. The 2013-14 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball preseason poll and all-conference team will be announced that day as well.

Tiger Sophomore Sem Verbeek Just Misses Tournament Title
Showing off his new and improved game on the court for the Pacific men's tennis team, sophomore Sem Verbeek made a deep run through the ITA Northwest Regionals as the second-year Tiger finished in second place after seven rounds of play. Sem fell in the finals to tournament champion Campbell Johnson of Cal, but made his presence felt throughout the tournament. On his way to the finals, Sem defeated the No. 1 seed in the tournament, Stanford's John Morrissey 6-3, 6-3, in the Round of 16. Check out Sem and the rest of the Tigers at home from Nov. 1-3 as they host the Pacific Tiger Invitational at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts.
