At least 90 percent (81 of 90) of this year's West Coast Conference men's basketball games will be televised on a national or regional level, or produced for broadcast on the conference's new network, TheW.tv. The announcement was made by West Coast Conference Commissioner Jamie Zaninovich at Thursday's annual WCC Basketball Tip-Off.

Pacific will be featured on ESPNU with its home game against Gonzaga on Feb. 27. The Tigers' first home game in West Coast Conference play against Saint Mary's on Dec. 30 will be televised by Comcast Sports Network Bay Area/California. All Pacific home games can be viewed by visiting the Tigers' multimedia page. The Tigers will twice be featured as the WCC Game of the Week on Time Warner Cable Sportsnet, on Jan. 11 at home against Santa Clara and at San Diego on Feb. 1.

"The West Coast Conference is proud to again boast one of the top men's basketball television packages in the country," Zaninovich said. "Thanks to our great television partners and our new reach with TheW.tv, more WCC games will continue to be available to our fans than ever before."

"The West Coast Conference has done a great job with this year's television package," said Head Coach Ron Verlin. "We are looking forward to being a part of the television networks and for our fans to be able to see Pacific Basketball wherever they are."

Seventeen West Coast Conference regular season games will be broadcast on ESPN Networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU) and an additional 48 games will air on regional television through conference and school partnerships with Time Warner Cable Sports, Comcast SportsNet, ROOT Sports and BYUtv - along with the West Coast Conference Game of the Week.

As part of the West Coast Conference's long-term deal with Time Warner Cable Sports, Time Warner Cable SportsNet will produce and air a West Coast Conference Game of the Week each Saturday during WCC play.  The Game of the Week will be distributed to television partners throughout the WCC footprint - up to 20 million homes in all.  Those games will also be available live to WCC fans outside of school television markets for free on TheW.tv.  Time Warner Cable SportsNet will once again produce a weekly half-hour show dedicated to WCC basketball airing at 12:30 p.m. PT in each market every Saturday during conference play leading up to the Game of the Week at 1:00 p.m.

In all, TheW.tv powered by Campus Insiders will air at least 63 West Coast Conference men's basketball games this season, including a minimum of 15 exclusive broadcasts produced in HD television quality for the digital platform.  Other regional telecasts can be seen out-of-market on TheW.tv.  All broadcasts on TheW.tv are available free of charge, and can be found on-line, on smart phones and tablets, and through connected TVs.

West Coast Conference play begins on Saturday, December 28th.  For the most up-to-date schedule with game times and TV listings, visit WCCsports.com or follow @WCChoops and @TheWtv on Twitter.
