Donations needed for the University Library Music and Book Sale

The University Library will be hosting a Music & Book Sale on Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m during Homecoming Weekend. This event is open to parents, alumni and community members as well as students, staff and faculty. 

The sale will be held outside the main entrance to the library in the space within the columns as well as the surrounding area. Items for sale include LPs (more than 7,000 already collected), CDs, books, videos and music scores. Prices still have to be determined, but there will be having a bag sale during the last hour of the sale. 

The Library is accepting donations of gently used books, videos, sound recordings and music scores at the Main Library Circulation Desk and the Health Sciences Branch through Friday, October 4.

All proceeds benefit the Library & Literacy Foundation for San Joaquin County.
