Pacific Men's Tennis Opens Fall Play At The Bulldog Classic
The Pacific men's tennis team opened play at the Fresno Bulldog Classic on Friday, Sept. 27.
Alex Hamilton, Erik Spence and Lance Ngo each picked up singles victories on the first day. Erik Cederwall and Hamilton picked up a victory in third series doubles.
"It was a great first day of fall competition for the four guys at Fresno State today," said Head Coach Ryan Redondo. "Every match we played was competitive. Our tennis was great, however, many mental ups and downs got to us in doubles today. Erik Cederwall and Alex Hamilton played a great match defeating the #1 seeds from Cal Poly, and three of the four guys all won their first round singles matches and will continue play tomorrow morning. Cederwall was the lone guy to not win his first round as he lost a close, high level match to the No. 1 seed in the A Flight."
The Tigers continue play on Saturday.
