|Pacific Men's Water Polo Opens Season at Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Pacific Men's Water Polo will open the 2013 campaign 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at home against Santa Clara. Pacific enters the 2013 Men's Water Polo season with high expectations, as MPSF Player of the Year and Peter J. Cutino Award winner Balazs Erdelyi and the rest of the 2012 squad return intact, as well as three-time All-American Goran Tomasevic returning from a redshirt season The Pacific men's water polo team was picked third in the preseason Mountain Pacific Sports Federation poll. It's the highest the Tigers have been tabbed before the season in program history.
Women's Volleyball To Make Their First Of Two Trips To Portland
Pacific heads to the Great Nothwest for two-day, three-match stay at the Portland State Tournament. While in Portland, the Tigers will take on Oklahoma (Fri., Sept. 6), Utah State (Sat., Sept. 7), and the host Vikings (Sat., Sept. 7). Visit PacificTigers.com for scores and updates.
Soccer Travels To UC Santa Barbara For Friday Match
The Pacific women's soccer team travels to Santa Barbara for a match with former Big West Conference rival UC Santa Barbara on Friday, September 6 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific (0-3-1) looks to earn its first victory of the season. Seniors Maricela Padilla and Brittni Beeman have scored Pacific's goals on the season, both assisted by freshman Alex Hussar. Last year the teams played to a 3-3 draw in Santa Barbara. Shayda Ansari, Maricela Padilla and Zarette Munoz-Aguilar each scored for the Tigers.

Tiger Alum Alex Edfort Moving On To First Stage Of PGA Q-School
Looking to make a run at his PGA tour card, recent Tiger golf grad Alex Edfort cruised through the pre-qualifying tournament to push his way into the First Stage of qualifying play. Edfort took part in the pre-qualifying tournament in Hollister, Calif. at San Juan Oaks golf course. The 2012 Big West Champion finished fourth overall on the leaderboard after tallying a -9, 205 over the three day event.
