January is Fitness Month

No matter what your resolution is this year, regular physical activity should be at the top of your list of goals for a happy and healthy 2015.
Jan 5, 2015

Movement is key to staying healthy, and you do not have to be an athlete to enjoy the benefits.  Even small changes can make a big difference in the overall health and productivity of your day.

You're built to move!  Being active helps you be healthier and stronger and feel your best at every age. Getting 30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 5 days a week helps to lower your risk of serious illness and improve your mood.

But whether you are a couch potato imagining a more active life, a senior with a few aches, a busy parent, or a weekend warrior, it can be tough to start, and keep, moving.  Consider visiting to find more ways to be active, ideas for fun activities, tools and apps to help you start a fitness routine, tracking options, even programs and classes in your local area!
