Academic Division

Tara Atkinson was promoted to assistant registrar in Student Services Administration at the Sacramento Campus.

Sheldon Baumrind named Dr. Arthur A. Dugoni Endowed Professor of Orthodontics
Dr. Sheldon BaumrindSheldon Baumrind,
professor of orthodontics and director of the Craniofacial Research Instrumentation Lab, was appointed as the first Dr. Arthur A. Dugoni Endowed Professor of Orthodontics in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. A Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Baumrind has been principal investigator of several National Institute of Dental Research (N.I.H.)-supported studies and is the author of more than 100 original publications in the orthodontic, medical, statistical and engineering literature. This appointment is supported by a $1.2 million endowment established by Dr. Arthur A. Dugoni, dean emeritus of the school, and numerous other donors. Read more >>

Georgina Dakis is the new pediatric receptionist in Department of Pediatric Dentistry in Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Kaitlyn Goslinga was promoted to financial aid counselor II in Financial Aid. 

Rebekah Grodsky was promoted to director of academic and student affairs in Academic Support Administration at the Sacramento Campus.

Amber Mullaney is the new administrative assistant II for Summer Session in Enrollment Management. 

Gilbert Ojeda is the new Institutional Review Board program specialist in Research and Graduate Studies. 

Chad Reed is the new grant program specialist in Research and Graduate Studies. 

Kelli Ann Sarnowski was promoted to coordinator in other student services for the Sacramento Campus.

Adam Silva is the new graduate legal assistant in Law Administrative Justice in McGeorge School of Law.

Mark Ulett is the new faculty developer in the Center for Teaching and Learning. Prior to coming to Pacific, he taught for four years at Duke University in the Thompson Writing Program, at Duke Kunshan University in China and Arizona State University in the School of Life Sciences. As faculty developer, he will work under the CTL Director to assist faculty
as they integrate pedagogical innovations, including the best digital tools and teaching methods in a rapidly changing environment of technology and learners. Read more>>

University Development

Jarrhod "Rod" Johnson is the new assistant director of major gifts for College of the Pacific. He comes to Pacific from Ruffalo Noel Levitz, where he serviced most recently as senior manager of fundraising services where he managed 10 professional staff and was responsible for high-level strategy, long-range annual giving planning and working directly with clients. He brings a strong background in higher education fundraising.

Jodie Harmon, associate director of Advancement Services, has resigned her position at Pacific and will be moving with her family to Wisconsin where her husband has accepted a position with the La Crosse Tribune. She will be greatly missed in her devoted service to Pacific over these past three years. Harmon began in January 2014 as a gift processor and served as interim assistant director of Advancement Services from May 2014 until being named to the permanent role in February 2015. She was promoted to associate director on May 1, 2016. Her last day as at Pacific will be Friday, June 24.

Thomas Snider is the new engineer I for digital media technology.

Business and Finance

John Williams is the new janitor supervisor in Maintenance Services for the Sacramento Campus.

Athletics

Joey Rossi has been promoted to associate director of athletic performance in Athletics. Rossi most recently was the associate director of athletic performance and has worked in Pacific's strength and conditioning program since 2010. Read more>>
