Dean, McGeorge School of Law
This search committee is chaired by Phil Oppenheimer, Dean of the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and co-chaired by Julie Davies, Professor of Law. The committee is reviewing candidates for on-campus interviews that are tentatively scheduled for November 28-December 2; December 7-9; and December 12-14.

Dean, Conservatory of Music
This search committee is chaired by Rena Fraden, Dean of the College of the Pacific. The committee is reviewing candidates to invite for on-campus interviews.

Assistant Vice Provost and Director of Admission
This search committee is chaired by Lynn Fox, Assistant Vice Provost & Executive Director of Financial Aid. The search committee has built a pool of candidates and plans to schedule campus visits in mid-November.

University Registrar
This search committee is chaired by Ryan Griffith, Director of International Programs and Services. The search committee has finalized a pool of candidates and campus visits are scheduled for October 27 and 28 in the Janet Leigh Theatre on the Stockton Campus. Director of Academic Assessment
This search committee is chaired by Justin Low, Associate Professor in the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education and Faculty Fellow in Assessment and Accreditation. A final candidate has been selected and is going through the final hiring process.

International Academic Chair
Pacific is now beginning its search for a permanent Academic Chair for Shorelight International Student Programs.  This person has responsibility for working with Pacific faculty, administrators and academic support staff to develop and deliver academic programming that meets Pacific's goals and objectives, to ensure the quality of this programming, and to ensure the integration and success of International Accelerator Program (IAP) students. The Academic Chair works closely with Shorelight's IAP Managing Director to provide oversight of all academic matters for these programs. This is a 3-year initial appointment.  This position will be posted soon. In the meantime, questions may be directed to Berit Gundersen, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, (bgundersen@pacific.edu).

The Provost thanks Dr. Suzanne Walchli, for serving as Interim Academic Chair over the past several months, and will continue to do so until the permanent director begins work in Summer 2017. Dr. Walchli has been a wonderful advocate for students and academic quality as these programs are designed and as Pacific prepares for its first Shorelight-recruited students in Spring 2017.

Executive Director for Professional Learning and Workforce Development
The search committee is formed and has built a pool of candidates. This search committee is chaired by Jonallie Parra, University Budget Director, and includes Dean Jay Mootz and Sean Metter, Accounting Manager.

This new position replaces the previous Associate Provost position, taking into account the significant changes in scope and vision that have taken place at the Center for Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) over the past year. Summer session has been brought back to the schools from CPCE, and Pacific's degree completion programs are now overseen in the Benerd School of Education and College of the Pacific, as appropriate. As CPCE's scope has been narrowed to strictly non-credit programming, this position will now focus on extending the reach of Pacific's non-credit programs into the university's three city locations and beyond through organizational and program development to meet the needs of non-degree seeking students across Northern California.
