Pacific Cross Country: Pacific Cross Country Season Comes to a Close

The Pacific Cross Country team had two runners represent them at the NCAA Western Regional on Saturday, November 14. Junior Kristina Hammarstrom (Manteca, Calif.) ran the 6K in 24:23.28 to take 166th place. Sophomore Jazmin Quiroz (San Jose, Calif.) completed ran a 27:24.23 to take 184th place.

As the 2009 season comes to a close, the Tigers saw much improvement from their young team. With only three returning runners to start the season, the team had a lot of work ahead of them. They took on the challenge and it was proven when consist improvement was shown during each meet. The Tigers look forward to successful seasons to come.
