Stagg Stadium to Close While University Conducts Feasibility Study

University of the Pacific's Amos Alonzo Stagg Memorial Stadium has been temporarily closed, due to safety and accessibility concerns. The University will no longer schedule events in the stadium until a feasibility study can be completed analyzing the costs and efforts needed to modernize the historic sports arena. more

Getting back on track at the Cathedral City Classic, the Pacific softball team blew out the Cyclones of Iowa State, 8-0 in five innings, on Friday, February 24. Freshman Dani Bonnet led the Tigers efforts in the circle as the new Tiger picked up her first career victory to push Pacific to 2-1 at the tournament and 4-6 on the year. more

Sophomore C Riley Drongesen roped two doubles and Michael Benson allowed just two runs in six innings in his first career start for Pacific, but the San Diego Toreros turned a 2-1 contest into a 6-1 win with four runs in their final two at bat Friday afternoon at Cunningham Stadium. more
