Looking to serve some community hours? Or are you just looking for a fun, dynamic, environmentally, socially and creative way to get involved at Pacific that will expand your knowledge and understanding of the world? You have come to the right place!
Sustaining Pacific is involved in different facets of the University - from having recycling across campus, to helping with our Robb garden, to hearing and providing new ideas to make OUR campus more green and sustainable!
Students for Environmental Action
||Students for Environmental Action meet bi-monthly in the DUC in room 216 at 5:45 PM on Wednesdays! If you are interested in the environment, social justice or wanting to make some positive changes and impacts on campus, come join us at one of the meetings!|
|Do you like gardening or wish to learn how to make and keep your own garden? Get in touch with Pacific's Garden Program Director to find out how to join the Garden Club.|
The Ted and Chris Robb Garden provides an outdoor common space that facilitates discussion, reflection, and interaction between Pacific students, faculty, staff, local farmers, and other members of the Stockton community. Throughout the year, the garden provides opportunities to learn about gardening and plants, sustainability, nutrition, and food systems and to build community through the garden work. Interested in learning how to garden or learning skills to upkeep a garden you have at home? You can learn by doing if you volunteer for the Pacific Garden Program! Contact Pacific's Garden Program Director to get involved.
This coming April we will have lots of activities for Sustainability Month! Do you have an idea in regards to a program you would like to see or host or create? Let us know at SustainingPacific@pacific.edu.

|Are you interested in the environment, national parks and more? We have a John Muir Center on campus where students can come and speak with Dr. Bill Swagerty, resident expert on John Muir as well as read many of the books based on the accomplishments of John Muir. You can find out more information on John Muir at Pacific here and check out the John Muir Center here.|
Programming - Sustainability, Socially and Financially Feasible.
Are you an RA on campus? Are you involved in a social, professional or philonthropic fraternity? Have you put on an event where you challenged your participants to think about their actions on the world or encouraged them in creating positive change through easy steps? We would love to share your program with others and collect a GREAT database of amazing programs that can be showcased for anyone to use.
Are you looking for new program ideas? Check back regularly, we will be updating our website with programs that YOU put together as well as new program ideas.
