In the spring of 2009, Pacific's School of Engineering and Computer Science broke ground for the John T. Chambers Technology Center. The 23,500 square foot facility, which in July 1, 2011was designed LEED Gold, will provide cutting-edge technology facilities for superior teaching, learning, and research, while serving as an integrative force for the entire institution for technology and for all disciplines and programs in the School. The building had it's ribbon cutting on October 7, 2010.

The main features of the Center include: 7 research, teaching, and industry project labs, 28 faculty offices, 1 studio classroom and lab, 2 lecture labs and classrooms, 1 reception area, 2 conference rooms, 2 student study areas, and 1 Dean's administration area.

The School of Engineering and Computer Science is proud to announce that the Center has been completed one semester ahead of schedule which has allowed students and faculty to occupy the Chambers building early and start a more enriched learning style. Thanks to the wonderful support of our Donors, the superb construction team, and project managers this building was erected in an exceptional amount of time.
