Sustainability Project Investment Fund
In fiscal year 2012, University of the Pacific established a $250,000 annual fund for investment in projects with sustainability as their focus. The Sustainability Project Investment Fund (SPIF) is currently available for projects at any of the three Pacific campuses (Stockton, Sacramento, San Francisco) through a competitive process. Goals of the SPIF fund are to:
- Support activities that reduce resource use, energy consumption, and waste or pollution generation;
- Invest in projects that have measurable economic, social or environmental benefits; and
- Support sustainability-related education, engagement, and outreach activities consistent with the university mission.
Proposals for projects beginning July 1, 2013 are due at 5 p.m. on March 1, 2013. Please see application below for submission details.
