Four Year Plan
For students who begin their first year at Pacific in the Honors program, this is the basic schedule for fulfilling course requirements. Students who intend to study abroad for all or part of junior year should follow the basic schedule used by students in the School of International Studies. Alternative schedules exist for students in Engineering, SIS, and accelerated Pre-Pharmacy andPre-Dentistry programs. Students finishing a bachelor's degree in three years are still eligible to complete the program, but must compress the senior project into the third year. Students invited into the honors program during the sophomore year must fulfill all of the requirements except honors sections of Pacific Seminar.
General Four Year Honors Student Plan
| Freshman Year | Fall | Pacific Seminar I honors (4 units) Optional 4 unit GE class |
| Spring | Optional 4 unit GE class | |
| Sophomore Year | Fall | Honors general education class (4 units--this may be taken in any semester, but is most likely to be taken no later than here. Honors students may take as many of these courses as they wish, but must take at least one.) Creativity and Knowledge (1 unit)* |
| Spring | Knowledge and Human Values (1 unit)* | |
| Junior Year |
Fall | Social Uses of Knowledge (1 unit)* |
| Spring | Senior Project Proposal (1 unit) | |
| Senior Year |
Fall | Honors senior project (4 units--or 2 units each semester senior year, or all 4 units second semester) |
| Spring | Honors senior project (4 units--or 2 units each semester senior year, or all 4 units first semester) |
* Completing Creativity and Knowledge, Knowledge and Human Values, and Social Uses of Knowledge will fulfill the II-B general education requirement. However students must complete all three honors seminars to receive the II-B general education credit.
SIS Student Plan
SIS Students will miss at least one semester junior year. Since their study abroad fulfills at least some of the goals of the third one unit seminar (Social Uses of Knowledge), it will be waived. We will offer a special section of the fourth one-unit seminar (Senior Project Proposal) in first semester senior year for students returning from study abroad.
| Freshman Year | Fall | Pacific Seminar I honors (4 units) Optional 4 unit GE class |
| Spring | Optional 4 unit GE class | |

Students in the 3+ pre-pharmacy advantage program follow the General Honors plan for their first three years and can fulfill their last honors requirements by taking the "Communicating Specialized Knowledge" in the fall of their second year in the Pharmacy School, and by doing a research rotation in their third year of Pharmacy School. Students in the 4+ pre-pharmacy advantage program follow the General Honors plan.
