2. What do I receive if I pay just the $30 annual membership fee?
Members who pay only the annual $30 fee are considered to be Basic Members and as such are enrolled in OLLI@Pacific for the 2011-2012 Academic Year, which includes the Fall 2011, Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 semesters.
Basic Membership benefits include:
• OLLI@Pacific Newsletter
• Attendance at the Welcome Receptions
Basic Members are not eligible to attend any other OLLI@Pacific functions, lectures or courses.
3. What will I receive if I pay the annual membership fee and semester program fee?
Members who pay both the annual Basic membership and the semester program fee become Active Members and are entitled to attend all functions, lectures and courses offered throughout the semester. Some programs and events may carry an additional fee due to special materials or costs required. Additional fees are clearly identified on the registration form.
Becoming an active Osher member has many benefits including:

4. How can I get more involved in OLLI? Does OLLI@Pacific have volunteer opportunities?
Volunteers are greatly appreciated! There are a number of volunteer opportunities available: 1) administrative duties in the OLLI office, usually just prior to the beginning of each semester helping to prepare registration packets; 2) being a greeter at one of three lecture locations; 3) Being a new member mentor at the welcome reception; 4) Being a part of the newsletter team; 5) Photographing OLLI events; 6) other projects throughout the semester.
5. How do I get on the mailing list?

6. I prefer not to put my credit card number on the registration form. Can I call in my registration or fax it in?
Definitely! Please call 209.946.7658 and we will be happy to take your registration over the phone. You are also welcome to fax it in 209.946.3916.
7. How will I know my registration form was received?
Once you send in your form please allow up to 2 weeks for processing. The packet you will receive in the mail will contain your member badge (if you are a new member) or a current semester sticker if you are a returning member. A "B" lot parking permit and class confirmation. We encourage you to call if you have not received your packet within 2 weeks.
NOTE: please wear your badge with current semester sticker to all OLLI events.
8. What is OLLI@Pacific's refund Policy?
Fully-paid current OLLI@Pacific members may withdraw from the program or short courses by notifying the OLLI office of their intent.
Withdrawal refunds apply as follows:

The Annual Membership Fee is non-refundable.

Semester Program Fee - Refund amounts are based on when the refund was requested. OLLI@Pacific membership badge and parking pass must be surrendered prior to refund.

Short Course Fee - Refunds are based on when the refund was requested.

No refunds will be granted after week 1. There is a $10 processing fee for withdrawing from any Short Course.

Excursions and 1-day Short Courses - Fee is transferable to another member but are not refundable.
9. Does OLLI take suggestions for lectures?
We encourage members to offer suggestions for future lectures. It should be noted that although we welcome all suggestions, we generally utilize the faculty on campus, so some lectures may not be possible. If you have a suggestion for a lecture, and have a name of an instructor, please forward the name as well.
10. Can I bring a guest?
We encourage every active OLLI member to bring a guest to the welcome reception.
11. Does OLLI@Pacific offer scholarships?
OLLI@Pacific offers a limited number of sponsored memberships. For the Spring 2012 Semester, five sponsored memberships are available in the amount of $55 each. The $55 award will be applied to the Semester Program Fee. Applicants awarded a sponsored membership will be responsible for paying any OLLI@Pacific Sponsored Membership Application.
