This conflict forever changed the nature of modern warfare as machine guns, airplanes, tanks, and mustard gas made their battlefield debuts with devastating results. Through a series of films, lectures, and eyewitness accounts this course will offer you a front-line glimpse of the horrors of ‘The War to End All Wars' and also its terrible cost.
