The Second World War Through Japanese EyesDecember 7, 2011 marked the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. As we remember America's entry into World War II. As we remember America's entry into Worl War II, you'll learn about the war in the Pacific from the perspective of the Japanese. Through a series of films, lectures, and eyewitness accounts, journey with the Japanese Navy to Pearl Harbor, travel across the sands of Iwo Jima, sail with kamikazes, and witness up close the horrifying effects of the Atomic Bomb. History is often written by the victors and rarely by the vanquished, gain an entirely new understanding of the Second World War and the people who fought and died for the Empire of Japan.
