Local Government 101

Want to change your community, or just understand how it works?

Interested in running for a local public office?

Know that it takes action to be part of the solution?

Local Government 101 is a short (10 week) course that explores local government cities, counties, special districts, and school districts) with special attention to the San Joaquin Valley. Each week a panel of experts will explain how local government operates and the policy options it has regarding economic development, education, public safety, land use and water.
