Gene Pearson
Without earth materials we could not blog, text and google; clothe, shelter and feed ourselves; or travel from place to place easily and quickly.
The earth challenges us with earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides and floods.
Our future, as a society and a people, is directly related to our ability to understand our earth and use its resources wisely.
Join me, or one of my colleagues, in the exploration of our planet and experience the excitement and occasional frustration that is part of the process.
Exploring, learning and teaching are shared adventures . . . as you and I explore and learn, we also teach each other.
Whether or not you chose to take a geoscience class from me or one of my colleagues, I urge you to spend your lifetime exploring our planet and learning as much as you can and then sharing your knowledge and experiences with friends, co-workers, family members and others you meet along the way.
