Info Sessions

Thank you for your interest in the Master of Arts in Food Studies program at University of the Pacific San Francisco.

The Master of Arts in Food Studies is designed for established and new professionals seeking to broaden and deepen their knowledge of food. Our classes empower our students with knowledge and tools relevant for them to venture forth on their new or modified career paths in food industry-related professions, from food writing to food history, advocacy to policymaking, consumer marketing, and research, and more.

Several times each year, we host Information Sessions for prospective students. This is an opportunity for you to meet Director Polly Adema and other faculty and students, tour the facility, and enjoy some light refreshments. In addition to learning more about this multidisciplinary program, at the Info Session, you can ask questions about the program and the admission process.  Our fall Information Session is being held on Saturday, December 9th at 4:30, immediately following our Saturday Seminar - The Secret Life of Food Trends with Trendologist Kara Nielsen from 3pm-4:30 pm.  (Click HERE to register for this or other Saturday Seminars).  As an additional reference, please see Food Studies' Frequently Asked Questions page.
