My most recent areas of interest are associated with the petrology of Cenozoic sedimentary rocks of central California and the geomorphology of the Sierra foothills (Table Mountain).
The learning/teaching process is a lifetime adventure. It can be exhilarating, hard work, time consuming, frustrating, but it is always rewarding. Learning how to best explore existing knowledge; observe, experiment and discover new knowledge; and communicate with others can be one of the most exiting challenges an individual can face.
