Panel Presentation: Preserving Access to Justice in California

A distinguished panel, including Justice Ming W. Chin of the California Supreme Court, who chairs the Judicial Council's Commission for Impartial Courts, addressed the growing problem of special interests and partisanship infiltrating the judicial system in a special program held at Pacific. The event was open to the public, and numerous members of the surrounding legal community attended.

The Fair Sex: Gender, Justice and the Law
A panel was held at Pacific's Stockton campus with Judge Mary M. Schroeder and Judge Consuelo Maria Callahan from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The judges spoke about their experiences as women in the legal profession.
