Learn Outside the Classroom

Students will find many opportunities to enhance what they learn in the classroom through experiences outside the classroom. Field trips to religious and cultural points of interest are one example.

Attend the Colliver Lecture

Our Colliver Lecture series offers another opportunity to expand one's perspective. At least once a year—and often more—a prominent speaker is brought to campus to discuss an aspect of religion in society. The lectures are free and open to the public, and of course, students are welcome.

Study Abroad

We also strongly encourage our students to take advantage of Pacific's Education Abroad programs. Foreign travel provides unique study opportunities and enriching experiences outside of the classroom. Our students have studied in places such as Bali, Greece, Japan, Italy, Scotland, and Spain.
