Internships

students installing art exhibit

The Visual Arts Department offers several opportunities for experiential learning in the Reynolds Gallery.

With faculty permission, students can take a 2-unit practicum in Gallery Management, or a 3- or 4-unit independent study in Gallery Management or Curatorial Practices.

Reynolds Gallery intern Marie-Clare

"I have loved every minute of working at Pacific's Reynolds Gallery, so much that I'm taking 5 semesters of the internship. The courses I have taken, Gallery Management, Gallery Preparation, and Exhibition Planning, have given me the tools to envision, design, hang, and contextualize exhibitions. Currently I work for Singularity University at NASA Ames Research Center as their Official Photographer (and previously as the Media Production Supervisor). Working at the Reynolds Gallery, specifically with Dr. Schumacher, has given me the savvy, work experience, and analytical ability to work for this Non-Profit. These skills have lead to unforgettable experiences and opportunities, for which I am very grateful."                                                                   Marie-Clare Treseder, Reynolds Gallery Intern
