Nominations for 2011 United Methodist Scholar/Teacher Award Due February 5
Through the generosity of the United Methodist Board of Higher Education and Ministry the University Scholar/Teacher of the Year Award is available to faculty of University of the Pacific.
Nominations are solicited for the United Methodist Scholar/Teacher award, which provides a stipend of $2,000. The selection criteria include:

demonstration of exceptional teaching
-
recognized concern for students and colleagues
-
sensitivity to the mission of the church-related university
-
a record of significant contributions to the scholarly life of the university
-
commitment to high standards of professional and personal life.
Send nominations with "Attn: Scholar/Teacher Award" to the Office of the Provost. All nominations must be received by Friday, February 5, 2011.
