Political Science Major Returns From Egypt
Political Science major Jordan Schreiber '12 had planned to spend the semester studying in Egypt through Pacific's Education Abroad Program. But history changed her plans. She recently returned home from Cairo, where she had been living in an apartment that was a block away from the initial protests in Tahrir.
Jordan has posted a blog in which you can see the memorable videos and photos she took during her last week and a half in Cairo when protests led to the toppling of the 30-year rule of Hosni Mubarak.
She was also featured in this recent Channel 10 (ABC) news story.
On February 15, Jordan will be participating in a panel called "2011 Egypt Revolution: The Whole Story" that takes place at 7:00 p.m. in the Janet Leigh Theatre, Stockton Campus. This event is free and open to the public. More details are provided here.
