Computer Studio for Music Composition (CCSMC)

The Conservatory Computer Studio for Music Composition provides students with a state-of-the-art facility to pursue the creation of works integrating multi-channel digital/analog audio technology with video for either fixed media or live performance projects. Built around the integration of analog and digital technology the studio functions as a fully equipped project and post-production studio with surround-sound audio monitoring and advanced hardware/software for multimedia creation. It provides training for students wishing to pursue their own unique creative vision as well as for those who look to future opportunities in the expanding media technology industry.

  • Buchla Analog Modular Instrument featuring 200e and 200r modules
  • External controllers and performance devices

Conservatory Recording Studio

The recording studio facility offers students the opportunity for training in a fully professional Pro Tools HD studio. Separate from the Composition Studio it extends the student's experience to include the essential activities found only in a recording environment.
