Beginning August 2008

POSITION/RANK: Assistant Professor of Violin & Chamber Music

SALARY: Competitive at the assistant professor rank

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach applied violin, coach chamber music, teach in a secondary area as qualified, recruit string students and perform with the New Pacific Trio (resident piano trio)

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Masters’ degree or equivalent professional experience and successful teaching experience. Preferred: University teaching experience

The Conservatory of Music, founded in 1878, has a full-time faculty of twenty, a part-time faculty of over twenty, and approximately 170 music majors.
