Faculty Event Scheduling
Scheduling a performance date requires at least 14 business days notice. A rehearsal requires at least 2 business days notice. Contact James Gonzales, Stage & Technical Director.
You may schedule a recital Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. or on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00pm, 2:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.
The Conservatory does not schedule recitals before the first and after the last day of classes or on holidays and holiday weekends.
Once your performance is confirmed, it will be listed on the Google calendar. This calendar can be accessed 24/7 to verify dates. If your event is not listed or if any information appears to be incorrect, please contact James as soon as possible.
Equipment, staffing, and setup needs
Once the date is confirmed, contact James Gonzales for all staffing, equipment, setup needs, box office (comp tickets, etc..) and access to the facility. Staffing, equipment and setup requests must be submitted no later than 14 business days before your event. We may or may not be able to accommodate changes after that time.
Submit programs via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 14 business days prior to your event date. Please understand that submitting a late program may make it more difficult or impossible to get programs printed on time. Contact James if you do not receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your program within 2 business days.
Program copy should include the following:
1. Date, time and place of the recital.
2. First and last name, and instruments (voice, indicate voice parts) of all musicians performing as they wish it to appear.
3. Selections to be performed listed in the order you would like them, including movements, catalogue, and opus numbers.
4. First and last names, as well as birth and death dates for each composer.
You are responsible for your own program notes and translations. Personal messages will not be printed.
Typically, you will be given access to the facility one hour before the event start time. Please contact James to request earlier access if needed. Performance start time cannot be changed within 14 business days of the event date.
