Artists-in-Residence: Pacific Arts Woodwind Quintet

Established in 1970, the Pacific Arts Woodwind Quintet offers a wide range of programs to satisfy diverse audiences including school groups, community concert organizations, professional musician associations, and teacher conventions.  For formal occasions, the Quintet performs a full-length program of standard wind quintet repertoire.  For informal settings, selections representing numerous composers and styles are interspersed with discussions on performance problems (and solutions).    Approximately 30-45 minutes in length, this format is ideal in a school setting and may be followed by group clinics on like-instruments.  PAWQ members include Conservatory professors Mathew Krejci, flute, Thomas Nugent, oboe, Patricia Shands, clarinet, Nicolasa Kuster, bassoon, and Jennie Blomster, horn.

For information regarding fees and scheduling, please contact  Nicolasa Kuster or by phone at 209.946.2708.
