Advance your business skills through intensive coursework, a graduate-level internship, and international travel in our 16-month full-time MBA program.
The Eberhardt MBA has a global orientation and is designed around an intensive course consisting of applied business foundation modules and advanced integrated required and elective courses in management studies. Many of the classes incorporate real world projects from companies who need advanced business assistance. As part of your 53-unit program, you may be asked to write a business or marketing plan, conduct a feasibility study, or help bring new products to market.
You will begin with a two day MBA orientation, where you will meet your cohort, work on leadership and teambuilding projects, and begin to hone your presentation skills. There will be interaction with the community, business and civic leaders, team competitions, and social activities including travel to a "mystery" destination. Coursework begins the immediate Monday following.
An 18-unit intensive Applied Business Principles course covers accounting, data and decisions, finance, management and organizational behavior, managerial economics, management information systems, marketing, strategy formulation, and career development.
Fifteen units of advanced MBA courses including corporate finance, entrepreneurial management, global strategic marketing, quality and productivity and a course in your chosen specialized elective area.
A three-unit Global Business Competition course which requires two to three weeks in an international location to study competition in global markets. Recent locations have included Istanbul and Izmir, Turkey; Panama and Costa Rica; Taipei and Hong Kong; Lyon, France; and London, England.
An 8 to 10-week MBA-level internship where you will be able to immediately begin putting your advanced management knowledge and skills into practice. Eberhardt MBA development career professionals will work with you hand-in-hand to assist you in developoing a beneficial experience.
Advanced MBA courses in your final semester total 17 units and cover leadership, negotiation, strategy implementation, corporate social responsibility, and three area electives in your chosen specialized elective area.
