Peace Corps/MBA

If you want a sense of purpose with your MBA, the Master's International program is an option. As a program in cooperation with the Peace Corps, the Eberhardt School offers a compelling route to an advanced degree. You can earn your master's degree by completing one year of intensive on-campus study, then serving overseas for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in a related overseas assignment, followed by one final semester to complete your Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree.

The Master's International program exists in disciplines where there is a skill shortage overseas, so you can be assured that your Peace Corps assignment will make good use of your skills. Serving in one of 70 countries which host Peace Corps volunteers, you will almost certainly have greater responsibilities than your stateside peers. Through this innovative program, you will build your management qualifications while helping people overseas help themselves.

How does it work?

You must apply to both the Peace Corps and to the Eberhardt MBA Program. This should take place at least six months prior to beginning the Eberhardt MBA. The Peace Corps application process includes an interview process, a health and dental clearance and a financial clearance.  Please see MBA Admission Requirements for more information regarding MBA admission.

Acceptance by one program does not guarantee admission to the other program. APPLY NOW!
