The Center for Business and Policy Research (CBPR) depends on external funding, such as sponsorships, grants and contracts, to support its operations. Although the Center does provide paid internships and professional experience for University of the Pacific students, it does not grant academic credit or generate tuition revenue. Thus, external sponsors play a vital role in allowing CBPR to fulfill its research, outreach, and educational mission.
Sponsors of CBPR value the information and independent analysis of business, economic, and policy issues for our community. Sponsors can support specific CBPR programs such as the Business Forecast or Cost of Living Index, the participation of CBPR experts in events, or provide general support for the Center. Sponsors can receive recognition in Center's highly visible publications and receive preferred consideration for the Center's experts to make presentations at public events, meetings, or retreats.
CBPR also conducts custom research studies under contract for a variety of business, non-profit, and public clients. For more information about sponsorships or contract opportunities, contact Dr. Jeffrey Michael, Director of CBPR, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 209-946-7385.
