CURRENT ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a wide range of administrative support fulfilling day to day operational objectives for students, faculty and administration directly.
Featured in the Winter 2007 issue of the Strictly Business magazine:
Not a single Eberhardt student graduates without needing to put in an application, make a change in their schedule, write a memo to a dean, ask a question about a registration process, or set up an appointment to discuss their future. Because of this, students are bound to cross paths with either the Undergraduate Administrative Assistant, Lynette Zenor or MBA Program Assistant, Debbi Bell.
Lynette Zenor has been the Undergraduate Assistant to the Associate Dean, Ray Sylvester for nine years. She interacts with the constant flow of students throughout the day and helps them to work out their class schedules so they can be successful in attaining their four-year degree.
She has been so helpful to students through her daily interactions that they nominated her for the award of Best Administrative Staff in 2002 and 2006. Students vote for this annual award through a poll in the Pacifican.
In her spare time, Lynette enjoys being a mom, scrapbooking, making greeting cards, and writing poetry. Lynette is faced daily with students who may need immediate resolutions to their problems. She strives to make sure the students understand the best way to manage today's matters so they can be better prepared for what they're dealt with in the "outside world." She faces each task with a smile, and says, "This is where I am supposed to be."
