Mary began working for the University as an administrative assistant at the School of Pharmacy. As Mary's technical support skills increased, she was able to move into the pharmacy school's first technical support position and she served as their Computer Resource Coordinator for about 8 years. In 1998, Mary migrated to the Eberhardt School of Business and became the Director of Information Services. When she started, her responsibilities consisted of managing desktops, laptops, servers, printers and networking but the job has grown to include all things digital - mobile devices (cell phones, slates, tablets), digital phones, smart classrooms, photography and video.
Mary is now responsible for helping educators and other business professionals find practical solutions using technology. She oversee all aspects of information services within the business school relating to faculty, staff and students in smart classrooms, conference rooms, computer laboratories (both fixed and mobile), trading centers and offices. This includes strategic and project planning, budgeting and procurement, as well as managing a local help desk that provides network, hardware, software, telephone and audio/visual support for servers, desktops, laptops, printers, IP and conference phones, mobile devices, projectors, interactive large screen displays, and digital signage monitors. Capture all major school events with digital stills and video for marketing and instruction; maintain digital video library.
