Ron Hoverstad is an Associate Professor at the University of the Pacific and has been on the faculty at Pacific since 1990 and previously served as the Associate Dean for the Eberhardt MBA Program. Ron is a native of Minnesota and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota in 1986.
Ron teaches courses in Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Promotion Management, and Marketing Research. His primary areas of research interest include marketing for non-profit organizations (especially higher education), marketing of health care, salesforce management and consumer information processing. His research has appeared in several journals including the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing Management, the Journal of Business Research, Psychological Abstracts and others. He has made several conference presentations at regional and national conferences sponsored by the American Marketing Association, the Association for Consumer Research, the Association Health Care Research, the Academy of Marketing Science, and others.
